Hi, I’m Lauren, a dedicated Graphic Designer with a love for photography. My venture into the world of design started at St. Lawrence College, where I studied in the Graphic Design program. When I’m not designing, you can find me playing hockey and baseball, or lending a hand at my family’s farm.
For me, design isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s more so about crafting narratives and evoking emotions. I believe in the power of purposeful designs that speak to you and your values. Every new design challenge is an opportunity to further my knowledge.
We all have our own unique strengths and weaknesses. Some of my strengths are photography, logo design, and web design. I have had an interest in photography for over 10 years, and it has been a growing hobby of mine. I have learned many things about photography by taking classes, and following other photographers online. I also enjoy logo design, as it is a lengthy process full of many different ideas and concepts. Similar to logo design, web design is something I consider a strength. As my knowledge of Adobe XD has improved over the course of the last 3 years, I feel that my knowledge of web design has come a long way as well.
As a new designer, I have a few goals set for myself in the next few years of my career. One of these is to progress my knowledge of photography. I would love to learn more about the equipment available, as well as different strategies for posing, editing, etc. I would also love to further my knowledge in photoshop, and learn how all of the tools, layers, brushes, etc. work.
